Stars and Bars
On January 17th, senior and junior officers from throughout the National Capital Region gathered for Stars and Bars, a unique dinner gala dedicated to the interaction of general and company grade officers.
Chief of Staff of the Air Force Gen. T. Michael Moseley was the guest of honor for the event composed of more than 55 general officers and more than 105 CGOs from Bolling; the Pentagon; Andrews AFB, Md.; Fort Meade, Md.; Dover AFB, Del.; and Langley AFB, Va.
I was one of the main players in the planning committee for the event that turned out to be a huge success. Below are some pictures from the event. After the group picture was taken, Gen Moseley gave each of us his personal coin for our work setting up the dinner. Very cool.

The Room - We had over 105 Lieutenants and Captains, 25 active-duty Generals (ranging from 1 to 4 stars), and over 35 retired Generals.
The Air Force Band Strolling Strings played during dessert. The Strolling Strings consist of around 20 members playing various types of stringed instruments.
